Starlink terminals and edge hardware for island and maritime sites

Hardware · Malé

Starlink kits and edge appliances

Official Starlink terminals and the edge appliances that sit behind them - bonding, policy, guest control, and failover. Buy the kit. Add install and support only if you want them.

Starlink is the last mile. The appliance behind it is what stops guest Wi-Fi, reservations, and CCTV sharing one FIFO queue. Ride supplies official Starlink hardware and a short list of edge appliances sized for island sites, vessels, and multi-island operators. You can take hardware only. You do not have to buy a managed contract to leave with a terminal or an appliance. Requirements first, SKU second.

Edge appliances

The box behind the dish

Starting-from prices in MVR. Taxes, licensing, install, and cloud-management seats are added on quotation. These units are selected because they speak Starlink as a first-class WAN - dual or multiple terminals, bonding, policy, captive portal - instead of hanging a dish off a consumer router.

How to choose

Site Start here
Starlink already live, keep the existing router RS100 inline
One building, guest + ops Wi-Fi, one or two dishes RS400
Need 5G failover or a cellular-first temporary site RS520
Vessel or plant, multiple terminals, no rack ES120
Large property, many users, or a hub other sites join ES515
Need SD-WAN on hardware you already have VX100

Ride will still undersell a kit rather than oversubscribe a vessel. The quotation names the SKU after the traffic profile, not before.

Mounts and the path to the rack

Quoted with the kit. No single public mount price. The bracket depends on the deck, roof, or mast.

  • Marine / vessel mounts for in-motion Performance kits
  • Land mounts and mast hardware
  • Outdoor-rated cable, glands, grounding, surge
  • Power budget for the terminal plus the appliance behind it

How buying works

You want What Ride does
Kit or appliance only Hardware delivered in Malé. No managed contract required.

What we do not sell

  • Residential Starlink kits or residential service plans
  • A live e-commerce cart
  • Bundles you must take to get the terminal

Residential buyers should use Starlink’s own residential channel, not Ride.

FAQ

Can I buy hardware without managed IT?

Yes. Hardware can be purchased without a Ride managed-services bundle.

Do you sell residential Starlink?

No. Business, maritime, and enterprise only.

Are the MVR figures the final price?

Starlink kit and appliance figures are starting-from prices. Taxes, mounts, licensing, and install are added on quotation.

Will the appliance work with the Starlink router I already have?

RS100 is built for that case - inline, no IP change. The other units typically replace the consumer router and take Starlink as a WAN.
